My name is Lebone Mazibuko, and I am from Kwa-Thema, Springs. I Matriculated in 2015 at Springs Boys' High School and went on to study BCom Accounting at the University of Johannesburg in 2016. I successfully completed my course in 2019.
Work Experience
*I started working as an education assistant at a local school in 2021 after almost a year and a half of job searching. The work included sanitizing and screening of students and staff, supervising the students and marking papers. I resigned when I got an offer to work for Intelleto
Why BCom Accounting
I chose to study accounting after school because I was ambitious and wanted a proper challenge. I wanted to pursue a career that would allow me opportunities to gain promotion into prestigious positions and to grow as a person.
Internship
I was applying for any finance internship I could find and most of them did not respond to my applications. Fortunately, one did. I received an email in 2020 to complete a test to register at GW Connect. Six to seven months later, I received a call offering me a chance to attend an interview and it was successful. I started working in June 2021
Company
I work at Motus Toyota Bedfordview which is a car dealership. It is a relaxed and friendly place to work.
