My name is Mfezeko Damane, I am 25 years old, I am from Matatiele, and I grew up in Tembisa currently residing in Pretoria. I Matriculated in 2014 and in 2016 studied Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting at the University of Johannesburg.
Work Experience
*In 2015 I worked at an NGO in Johannesburg called Mould Empower and Serve and there we tutored both Primary and High School learners, we also did performance theatre and presentations. In 2020 I worked at a School in the Free State called Boitlamo Secondary School as a Teacher Assistant and I was teaching grade 9 maths, grade 10-12 Accounting and Grade 11-12 Economics.
Why Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting
Well, I loved Accounting since high school and I excelled at it very good, and it is a path that will lead me to owning my own business one day which is one of my career goals.
Internship
a friend that I went to the same high school with who works at Outex acquainted me with the internship, she helped me apply for it and I started working in July 2021
Company
The company I work for is Future Africa a division of the University of Pretoria, it is a company that offer Residential and Conference Accommodation to for Research Commons, it is fun working with the people here and there is a lot to learn daily and I am even going to be enrolled in some courses at University of Pretoria that will equip me with more skills that are needed for the job I am doing
