About Me
My name is Happy Thandie Makoa, born and raised in Gauteng, I live in Tembisa with my mom and older brother. I’m an outgoing, energetic young lady and I like to think of myself as an optimistic person (at times it fails me especially when I’m angry). I matriculated in 2016 Spartan High School, in 2017 I furthered my studies at Pretoria Technical College where I studied Business Management and due to lack of financial aid, I was unable to complete my course, I had to drop out. In the year 2018 I fell ill (in and out of hospital) but by the grace of God I recovered. Then in 2019 I registered with Ekurhuleni West TVET College Kempton Campus where I studied Management Assistant which I completed in September 2020 due to Covid of course.

Work Experience
*Well I used to tutor my fellow classmates from back in high school, as well as in college (side hustle) for Computer Applications Technology, Computer Practice, and Information Processing.

Why Management Assistant N6
My love for computers made me study Business Management and Management Assistant because they both have computer inside, I would’ve studied IT, but I decided against it because as much as I love computers, I also love human interactions, and these courses offer both. So why not.

Internship
I had applied for internships/learnerships with so many companies that I had decided if the month of March comes and I still haven’t gotten anything, I was ready to go to the nearest primary school/high school and volunteer for 18 months so that I can get my experience and graduate. I had registered on the My-College portal back in 2019 and I had even forgotten about it. I received a call form Outex mid-February to update my CV and upload my updated supporting documents on their database and 2 days later I was called in for an interview with Stallion Security (Pty) Ltd. A week later I received a call telling me my interview was successful and I was called in to sign because on Monday, the 1st of March I had to start with my Internship at Stallion Security (Pty) Ltd.

Company
The vision upon which the Stallion Group has been built began with its inception as a guarding company in 1991. Stallions key objective at the time was to provide our clients with the peace of mind that comes with knowing that they had entrusted their security to a group of people who were relentlessly committed to delivering on their promises – and surpassing them. The journey from our humble beginnings to a premier Security Group, with a guard force today of 8 500 security personnel, has been driven by our initial vision of growing the skills, passion, and commitment of our people to ensure that our clients, whom we recognize as our reason for being, derive the maximum returns on their security investments. Stallion Security today is truly reflective of the positive energy, diversity and strength. Headed up by a team of specialized and focused individuals, we are 100% proudly South African and not simply a token BBBEE compliant organization – rather, we are a company where expertise is channeled to develop and uplift staff through a number of exciting and rewarding initiatives.
