My name is Charity Machave, 22 years of age, and I grew up in Thulamahashe, Bushbuckridge. I matriculated in 2015 at Mafemani Nxumalo Secondary School and I decided to further my studies at the University of Limpopo, where I obtained my Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting degree in 2018 and Bachelor of Commerce Honours in Accounting in 2020.
Work Experience
*I attended an Audit Experience program at the Auditor General South Africa for the June holidays in 2018, where I learned the practical way of conducting an audit. I was a tutor at the University of Limpopo for Business Calculations and Statistics for first year students in 2020. I was responsible for conducting tutorial sessions and helping students with exam preparation and techniques
Why Bachelor of Commerce Honours in Accounting
I chose BCom Accounting because I am passionate about accounting and I find it a everyday practical experience since almost all our daily activities have to be financed. I believe that I will be a good accountant in the future
Internship
I heard about GW Connect on a whatsapp accounting jobs group which my former classmates and I decided to create in varsity. I applied the finance internship by creating a ticket on their website and I was contacted to complete my profile a few weeks later. I was then later contacted to attend an interview which I passed and I am currently an intern.
Company
I am currently an intern at Motus Select Renault East Rand. Renault East Rand has a good working environment and I am encouraged to become a better professional daily.
