My name is Thelma Mashimbyi, I am 29 years old, I was born in Hammanskraal but currently resides in Mamelodi. After completing my matric in 2005, I never had an opportunity to further my studies but in 2010 I decided to register at Tshwane North College whereby I did Generic Management NQF Level 2-4 and after completing it, I registered N Courses where I obtained N6 Financial Management certificate. I am a hard-working motivated woman who believes that nothing is impossible, for as long as you are determined and focused, you can make it happen.
Work Experience
*In 2008 I worked as a cashier at Vasfontein (Geris Vleis Maak), until 2009, that is when I decided to go back to school. While I was busy Studying N5 I got an internship at the Department of public works 2012 to 2014.It was challenging because working and studying at the same time needs someone who is willing and determined. I worked in finance, supply chain and registry, I learned so much in a short period of time.
Why Financial Management N6
Financial Management is a Challenging field and it has so many carrier opportunities, it also helps one to be focused and open minded. I also love working with numbers.
Internship
I applied to many companies and went to many interviews but nothing happened, until a friend told me to register with GWConnect. Within three weeks, they called to inform me that I should come for an interview. HR team at Intelleto were kind and helpful.
