My name is Khomotso Statler Sethabela. I currently reside in Gezina but originally from Brits, Maboloka village. I matriculated in 2015 at Hebron Technical and Commercial High School then went to further my studies at Tshwane North TVET College in 2017 and I completed my N6 in 2019.
Work Experience
*After completing my studies, I thought that I would find an internship right away but things turned out differently. While I was busy doing N5 in 2018, I managed to secure myself a part time job at Riviera Kelders Liquor store, where I worked as a cashier, cleaner and packer and I worked there for 2 months. At the end September 2020 I got a job at Jollify Trading and I worked as a Forecourt Attendant but I got an internship at Hello Group and started with my internship in November 2020.
Why N6 Financial Management
Finance is a very broad industry and also one of the important skills in business world. I have seen most businesses shutting down operations due to financial crises and mismanagement, not only businesses but people as well, they fail to settle their debts and end up being blacklisted. I chose Financial Management because enjoyed and loved working with numbers and I found my passion in it. I want to generate solutions to save growing businesses in their financial and operation business lifecycle.
Internship
I received a call from Outex and they told me they got my information from Tshwane North TVET College and I must create a profile for myself as they are organizing an interview for me.My first and second interview were unsuccessful as I was not ready yet and hungry for success in 2019. In October 2020 they called and told me about a possible 18 months internship programme at Hello Group. I went for a formal interview at Hello Group offices. I received a call from Outex, they said my interview was successful and was required to start work on the 15th of November 2020. I recommend that all other graduates to register with GWConnect.
