My name is Africa Bafana Mabusela. I grew up in Soshanguve block xx where I completed my matric in the year 2015. I then went to further my studies at Tshwane North Tvet College in 2017 where I obtained N6 certificate in Financial Management. One would describe me as a young man full of dreams who is also eager to learn and make a success of myself in the financial accounting industry.
Work Experience
*After I completed my matric I had to take a gap year and look for a job because at home we had financial difficulties because NSFAS had not approved me yet. I then got a part-time job at a retail where I worked as a cashier. It was difficult I won’t lie but I knew what I wanted to achieve and by God’s grace NSFAS approved my application that’s when I went to school.
Why N6 Financial Management
When we were invited to attend career expos during high school years we were told to always choose something you passionate about, therefore reason why I chose Financial Management as a course was the fact that I enjoy working with numbers but not only numbers but those with currency sign. Let’s not forget the fact that numbers don’t lie, they always tell a story whether good or bad. I would also add that its an important skill in the business world, an operating system that many fail so having pure knowledge about it would benefit myself and those around me.
Internship
For me the most difficult thing was securing the internship. The day we got our N6 results people from OUTEX came with forms for us to fill as there were companies that were in need of interns. I waited two long years after completing my N6 to finally getting called for an interview from Jollify trading. If it wasn’t for OUTEX and GW CONNECT I wouldn’t be here today so big up to them. Not forgetting Jollify for giving me a chance to prove myself.
Company
Everything in life starts with what you as an individual want to achieve. By saying that here at Jollify trading if you want to learn and take your career to the next level that’s what you going to get. Jollify trading is a team work orientated environment and they have allowed me to learn and contribute within the company. In short I would say I am happy to be here as I do exactly what I studied and I believe that this internship will help me to become more of a valuable employee within any organisation.
