My name is Grace Chawane, from Bushbuckridge in Mpumalanga. I Matriculated in 2016 at Orhovhelani High School. I studied Bcom Accounting at the University of Free State in 2019. In 2020 I completed my Honours in Management Accounting
Work Experience
*From 2019 -2021 i was with Citylife property and accommodation where i worked as a financial administrator. I was Preparing Customer invoices weekly and monthly according to the applicable contract terms. I would gather, analyze, and interpret relevant financial data, Preparing income statements, balance sheets, and budgets. I would also handle the Petty cash of the company.
Why Finance Graduate
From a very young age i used to love calculating, so one morning when I was in grade 4, I asked my dad what is it that I could do that had to do with calculations. My dad suggested i do a research on being an Accountant and from there i fell in love with Accounting and i never looked back. I decided to continue with Management accounting as it allowed be do go in depth on how things were or are calculated.
Internship
After completion of my degree, i started actively looking for jobs, I Got the Internship through word of mouth. a friend who is with the company suggested i create a profile and put my information as the company was in need of people who did Finance. I submitted my CV on the GWConnect website after which Outex contacted me. I was then appointed as an Finance Intern.

Currently I'm with Westcon-Comstor as a Finance Intern which is the leading global technology provider and specialist distributor of business technology. Operating in more than 70 countries, It is a value-added speciality distributor of industry-leading cyber security, network infrastructure, unified collaboration products, data centre solutions and channel services with a global network of service providers, systems integrators and speciality resellers. I can say it is a good company and i am delighted to be part of it.
