I’m 32 years old, born and bred in katlehong. I completed my grade 12 at Lethukuthula Secondary School. In 2017 I enrolled at Ekurhuleni West College and studied Human Resource Management.
Work Experience
*
After completing my matric I stayed at home for 2 years. In 2010 I volunteered at a public hospital for 2 months, after that a few months after the hospital, I got another opportunity to work at the 2010 CAF as a spectator at the soccer city stadium. Both opportunities came with challenges and difficulties but I have learnt a lot from both.
Why N6 Human Resource Management
I chose human Resource Management because of the love and passion I have for helping others. if there’s one thing that I’m passionate about is helping other people with the little that I have and also helping make someone’s dream come true. When I went to college, I knew that Human Resource is the best course for me and I am happy that I am doing it, because I am able to help other people.
Internship
When I completed my N6, I stayed home for 2 years searching for an internship. I applied in several companies but nothing came up. A friend of mine whom I studied with at the college called to inform me that she got an internship and then she gave me an Outex email address, I immediately emailed and I got a reply from OUTEX advising me to register my profile with GWConnect and I did so, it took a while for me to get a response but after a year and a couple of months I got a call inviting me for an interview at Murray an Roberts. Unfortunately, I didn’t get the internship. In July 2021 I received a call from Outex inviting me for an interview with Stallion Security Company. It wasn’t more than a month; I got a call from stallion congratulating me for getting an internship with them. I was very happy and couldn’t stop singing and dancing with my daughter at home
Company
I am doing my internship at Stallion Security Company, if offers classes in everything security, it has a learnership that’s ongoing and its one of the best security company. The environment there is very relaxed and clean. I had a warm welcome from the staff members, my training manager then Lydia, was the sweetest I must say. I am enjoying every moment in the company, even with our new manager Mrs Tsholofelo Selepe, we call her “sister Boss” she is the best, I wouldn’t have asked for anyone to be my manager. I am learning a lot from her.
