Born and bred in Mabopane, months later my mother relocated me to the Northern Cape in Kimberly to be raised by my Grandmother When I was old enough to start school it was decided that I go back to Mabopane to start schooling. That was when I was 7 years old started my Grade 1 in Selelo Primary School, until the last grade in primary which was the seventh grade. My high school life was pretty much about school, didn't have many friends but I had one close friend whom I shared a lot with, my personal challenges that I had at a time. I was an average learner at school but whenever a new topic was introduced in class I was quick to catch and understand most of the lessons which made it manageable for me to get through all the grades without a fail. The high school that I went to is Letlotlo Sec School, based in a Township where as teenagers we were exposed to alcohol and drugs that most of the times involved violence so it was self discipline and my poor background that kept me focused on school. I have always been a quiet person, who is very observant and analytical, always learning from the past experiences or those of one's who were around me. In 2014 I matriculated and passed with a bachelor entry level
Work Experience
*I had a job as a teacher assistant though it wasn't paying enough but it was enough for me to take care of myself, daughter and family.
Why Management Assistant N6
Life after matric was never easy, in 2015 I tried to apply for university but to no success because I was not really sure of the processes I had to take to be admitted school. So I took a gap year that was very stressful, sometimes I felt as though my peers were getting ahead of me and I was left behind. So 2016 I my friend suggested that I apply for NSFAS with Tshwane South Tvet College, so I did and it was successful. I studied Management Assistant until I completed
Internship
I applied for an internship with Autex and they were very helpful, they would call and check if had lended one, and they promised to find me one. During those months looking for an internship I fell pregnant and I was stressed about how I was going to take care of my daughter
Company
So I went to Autex for contract signing, and honestly I was not focused to the financial part of everything, I was more focused on the end goal which was to grasp as much information, knowledge and skills as I could and make a little progress in my life. But to my surprise 6 months into my internship was offered a permanent job in one the biggest motor dealerships in the country and it has been great and every part of it's ups and downs, the pain, the stress and the pressure it was all worth it. And my journey does not end here, I still have a diploma to complete and new life jornies to embark on and it is very exciting. Never lose your faith, and work smart of whatever you set your mind on. And never ever lose sight of who you are.
