My name is Fikile Amanda Ndimande and currently residing in Katlehong. I matriculated in 2011 at Germiston High School in the East Rand. I later then studied Social Work and Majored in Criminology, but I dropped out because it was psychologically affecting me. I then studied Marketing Management at Ekurhuleni East College and completed my N6 Certificate.
Work Experience
*In 2016 I worked at Old Mutual (Alberton – Meyersdal) as a Financial Advisor. My duties were to sign up new and existing clients on life and savings policies that fit their needs and advise on how they can handle their finances for future benefits. I left almost 2 years later to work for the Sanlam Blue Group, for the same position with the same duties as of Old Mutual.
Why Marketing Management N6
Both the above mentioned positioned triggered a love in me for a sales and marketing. In 2019, I decided to shift my focus to further my studies, as it was not easy to get a management position without a qualification. I then enrolled at the Ekurhuleni East College, completed my 18 months theoretical studies, and was required to apply for an internship of 18months to complete my Diploma.
Internship
I applied for an internship to plenty of companies with no success. A friend then referred me to GWConnect and shared all the details, as she was already employed through the agency. I sent all the necessary documents and within a couple of weeks I received feedback from Outex for an interview, which I passed. I’m now officially appointed as an intern!
