About Me
My name is Thandeka Prudence Masango.im 22 years old , I live in Benoni and I went to school at Hulwazi secondary school and matriculated in 2013.During the years of my schooling I was doing acting/drama in the afternoon since from 2010 till the end of august 2014 .I decided to go to school the following year since acting was no longer doing it for me. I went to EWC (Ekurhuleni west collage) to study my human resource management thats where I got my N6 certificate.

Work Experience
*I went to the labour department to ask for the internship to complete my diploma and I got it on a voluntary basic. I have learned a lot about the working environment since well it was my first time to work. I have learned a lot about the process of compensation fund ,UIF and a lot more from sending of emails, typing of reports, telephone enquiries. Screening of clients, Inspection of companies, and also basic knowledge of HR duties in the public sector.

Why Human Resource Management N6
After matric I was confused about which career should I follow. I choose HR because I did not really know what to study and I went for HR since I realise that I am not a shy person and I think I will be able to work with people and i am very easy to socialise with after getting to understand more about the field I fell in love with the course and I am proud to say I made a right choice

Internship
One of my friend (Jessica Mashaba) knew that I was volunteering to gain work experience and she told me about the GWConnect and how it works and also how it had helped her. I decided to register myself with every information needed. Soon I received a call to come for an interview, on a same day I got feedback that I have been chosen. Then I was called for contract signing. That’s how I made it to the internship.

Company
I work for Murray and Roberts which is one of the leading company in the world .The environment is very friendly and welcoming. I enjoy being there every day and the employees are very professional they assist you where I do not understand. I’m placed at the HR department which deals with remuneration and benefits i am still learning but I am enjoying the procedures and new challenges. Most we deal with new engagement, terminations, provident fund, medical aid and a lot more.
