Work Experience
*During my Postgraduate studies I was a tutor for undergraduate students. my duties included conducting tutorials for specific operations of hardware and software, tutoring how to write clean computer algorithms and programs. I also got experience to do administrative work as I had to keep record of student grades.
Why degree in computer science
Coming from a previously disadvantaged background I never had to interact with a computer. The first Computer Science lesson I attended from my first year of University opened a world for me that had endless possibilities. From the first algorithm I wrote, I was inspired and intrigued by the kind of solutions technology would have changed my community. I took a decision to further my studies so that I can focus on the specific field of mobile development which inspired me to create a mobile application in Android that will help make the operations of a stokvel much more manageable.
Internship
I applied through an online platform where my profile was picked by Intelleto. After numerous and unsuccessful interviews, I manged to land an internship.
