My name is Maropeng Mogashoa and I grew up in Akasia, Pretoria. After I completed my
matric in 2019 at Amandasig Secondary School, I enrolled with Tshwane University of Technology
to further my studies in Networking and Cybersecurity. I completed my three years of studying
and now doing my practical modules towards graduating.

Why Diploma in IT
During matric, I had no idea what I wanted to study in varsity but I knew that I had to further
my studies. I applied for several courses and got accepted for Information Technology. As time
went by, I started gaining a passion for configuring and programming applications in various programming languages.
Internship
One night I was surfing the internet, and I came across a website called "mycollege.com" which
had a Graduate Program for fresh graduates. I applied for the position and I was called a week later
if I would be available for an interview. I passed the interview and was offered a position as an intern
solution architect.
Company
I am enjoying my current job as it allows me to further my understanding of configuring and helps
me learn new concepts on a daily. The employees at Outex are very supportive and willing to support
their interns.
