I went to Ekurhuleni East College at Springs Campus and studied Information and Communication Technology, for a period of three years, doing NQF level 2-4. I studied between 2017 to 2019. Soon after college I got into a Government programme called Presidential Youth Employment Initiative (PYEI

Why ncv information technology
I chose to study ICT because our tomorrow keeps changing and so should our minds and the daily activities we partake in. We live in a world where we are forced to evolve and adapt to these changes. The best way to do that is to choose a career that is broad and versatile. A career that will not limit your opportunities but instead open more doors for you. I can work in any industry since this world is powered by technology. ICT is the best career choice for me.

Internship
This career choice has led me to where I am now. June 2022 I was one of the lucky ones to be selected by our College-(placement office to be specific) for an ICT internship. I got placed in one of the leading ICT companies in SA called Pinnacle Micro situated in Midrand. This is a 24-months internship.

Company
Pinnacle is South Africa’s leading ICT distribution company. They manufacture products like the Proline range of PCs, Notebooks, Monitors, software, phones, UPS and more – all specifically designed and built to meet the needs and demands of an African market.
