My name is Siyanda Mkhondwane, I come from Mpumalanga in Amersfoort. I did my grade 1-7 at Sangqotho Primary School, after my grade 7 I then relocated to Leslie and that is where I did my grade 8 – 12 at Chief Ampie Mayisa Secondary School. I completed my Matric back in 2018 then 2020 I went to study at Ekurhuleni East Tvet College and that is where I did my N4-N6 in Marketing Management and completed it 2021 December
Work Experience
*After I completed my N6 in Marketing I then got a job at Old Mutual in Sandton working as a cleaner / general assistant. I also had a clothing brand of which I established myself and it also was running very well
Why Marketing Management N6
I did Marketing because I wanted to grow my brand in a professional aspect as I am good with sales, branding and interacting with customers and their needs at hand. I also want to grow in the Marketing Field as it is broad and my goal is to see myself going International with Marketing
Internship
I actually saw a post on Facebook under the GW Connect Page and they were looking for people who did Marketing(N6) , privilege enough I was called for an interview at Roodepoort as I applied for the position. My interview went well and after three days if not two I got a call and email stating that I have been taken for the internship. That was the best feeling ever to be honest as I have been looking for practical experience in order to get my full Diploma in Marketing.
Company
I am working for the CFAO Mobility, it is a motor industry company and it is very broad. I am working at the central office of the company at Hino West Rand in Roodepoort. It is such a great environment with great staff who is always willing to help. I work as a service booking clerk whereby I interact inbound customers for the service bookings and enquires. I have gained a lot of experience in the motor industry and their systems they use to run the company
I thank GW Connect/Outex for the life changing opportunity and I wish they can continue to help under students as I to secure their internships in the field they studied for.
