My name is Sihle Mtengisi, I am from Vosloorus but I currently live in Centurion. I matriculation in 2019 in EketsangSecondary School. I furthered my studies and I enrolled at Ekurhuleni East TVET in January 2021 for Marketing Management and I completed my Marketing Management in June 2022.
Work Experience
*In 2022 July I was employed at Melbro Wholesale Pty Ltd as a Warehouse Assistant for the period of six months. My duties were to receive stock on the Receiving Department and I was a Packer. I was packaging products and getting them ready to be dispatched in all CrazY stores.
Why Marketing Management N6
I always had a passion in the business industry and I always enjoyed working with customers. I used to sell products and I used to fix Cellphones in 2020 during my unemployment year. I dealt with a lot of different customers. I always loved Marketing especially dealing and selling to customers. That is why I enrolled for Marketing Management. It is a course that is evolving in the world of business, with a lot of challenges and opportunities one can option for to advance their passion in the world of business. I am able to communicate with a variety of people, and I know how to provide customer service. Challenges that we face with customers are motivating me to always rectify and manage customer's needs and expectations. I want to further my Marketing N6, that way I will familiarize myself with different Marketing trends in the industry.
Internship
Before the end of my Marketing Management N6, I applied for an internship to many organizations without any success. I was getting declined cause I did not have complete Academic records. I then went to our College group and I saw a post it was a year ago post with an email that was Support@my-college.co.za. I then decided to forward my details on the email. I was trying my luck because the date was passed already. I received a response the following week to register my details on the database. I was so happy, it was around July while I was in an interview for my Warehouse Assistant position. I completed the forms that were attached then I sent them back. Month's went by without receiving a feedback. I then visit the Gwconnect website and I check the reviews and it was a legit organization. I started sending them emails every week, started to think that they forgotten about my application. I have started to receive calls saying that my application was received and as soon as there is an opportunity, I had hope. I have been sending emails every week for three months. One time around November, they called my brother because my number wasn't not working and he said I must check my emails Gwconnect contacted me. I was very happy and shaking because God knows how long I have been applying for the internship. I logged on my emails and I saw two internship interviews. I was surprised and shaking that it is finally happening. I responded back saying that I will attend both interviews. I ended up attending one, because they were impressed and took me the very same day. I will proudly say that I am here because of Gwconnect and I am very grateful for that. My life changed after those emails. I have been referring my friends and my previous classmates to Gwconnect and lot of them were getting responses and others are interns today just like me. I am very happy they made the impossible to be possible. There is a lot I can write about Gwconnect they really helped me a lot.
Company
The company that I have been placed at, it Us Audi Centurion. Everything about the organisation is amazing, the stuff is very friendly, I do not see myself as an intern anymore because they welcomed and trained me like they knew me. They have an excellent reputation. I was given my own computer after 4 months, that was a great opportunity for me to always be grateful of. They trained me to learn the system, to communicate with customers via calls and in person. They made me feel free and welcome. If it is possible, I would appreciate to be their employee. I never had any experience in a Motor industry but now I can talk different, I am now knowledgeable. I am grateful especially to Marthinus our Service manager he believed in me. We usually face challenges with different customers, they taught me on how to handle every situation. I am a better person now this is the benefit of them all, I am different. I appreciate the opportunity that I have been given. Thank you Gwconnect and Audi Centurion. I am now ready for any challenges. I appreciate everything.
