My name is Jane Mapula Malesa. I am 26 years old, currently reside at Mamelodi but originally from Limpopo at Khaxani Village. I matriculated in 2015 at Ndhambi Secondary school, in 2017 June I enrolled at Tshwane North College to study Financial Management which was a bit challenging for me but through dedication and working hard and not only that but also God’s will and mercy I managed to obtain my N6 Certificate in 2019.
Work Experience
*After completing my studies, I had hoped that I would get an internship as I would go to different companies to submit my CV, also I would apply online but with no luck I managed to get a job as a Stock Packer at Takealot Warehouse. But that did not make me stop from applying for an internship because I had faith that one day I would get to live my dream
Why Financial Management N6
Honestly at first when I chose to study finance it was only because I had always been that person who was careful with money, I never liked over-spending on unnecessary things which others saw as being stingy. So that encouraged me to study finance in order to be well informed about the different dynamics of finance so I can be able to help others who have less knowledge about finance.
Internship
After I completed my N6 I stayed for about 3 years with no luck of an internship opportunity until I got a call from Tshwane North College Central Head Office asking me if I was still interested for an internship which I agreed, they then sent me an email with a link of GW connect to create a profile and upload all my documents. After 2 days I received they called me again to inform me that I had been invited for an interview at Outtex, I attended the interview which I passed and was placed to start on 01 August 2023.
Company
I am doing my internship at Big Save Waltloo which is a very big Retail store that offers a wide range of different opportunities in the finance sector, I got a very warm welcome from my colleagues and other workers who do not work in the finance sector, as I started off from being a stock admin but was later moved to the Creditors department. I am very happy to say that I enjoy working at Big Save and I’m very grateful for such opportunity
