About Me
My name is Sesethu Danisa, I currently reside in Pretoria but originally from
Eastern Cape, Lusikisiki Village. In 2019 I matriculated from Gariep Hoërskool
then went to further my studies at the Tshwane University of Technology
doing Financial Management course and I completed my Diploma and
graduated in 2023.
Work Experience
*During my matric year I was a very busy individual, I got into part time jobs,
one of the part time jobs was me working as a Junior Payroll assistant at
Phandani Construction, and that’s actually where my love for finance was
enhanced, and as this was a construction company, they sometimes needed
more hands when it comes to cleaning, and I always jumped at the
opportunity and also contributed in the cleaning department. I also worked
as a Cashier at Sakanani Bottle Store when I was doing Grade 11.
Why Diploma in finance
In addition to being a very large industry, finance is one of the most crucial
business skills. I've witnessed a lot of people and businesses close their
doors as a result of financial crises and poor management; these individuals
and firms fail to pay their bills and wind up on blacklists. I chose financial
management because I want to provide solutions that help expanding
companies in all aspects of their operations and finances.
Internship
As I was surfing my Facebook page, I came across an internship program
posted by Fasset with a GWConnect link to register; from there, I made my
profile. GWConnect introduced my profile to trustworthy organizations such
as SoluGrowth. SoluGrowth, headquartered in Pretoria, is a major South
African business process solutions company. They called to tell me about a
possible internship opportunity at SoluGrowth. I conducted a virtual interview
with SoluGrowth. I received a call from GWConnect informing me that my
interview had been successful and that I would be starting employment on
October 2nd, 2023. I encourage that all other graduates seeking internships
