I am Maite Mathekgane from Esselen park, Tembisa 1632. Studied my junior and secondary school in Tembisa at Mvelaphanda primary school and ikusasa comprehensive school respectively. Completing my matric in 2016.I then enrolled at Tswane North TVET College from 2019 to 2021 following a brief gap year.
Work Experience
*After completing my N6 I worked as a general worker for Clicks DC working as a picker for their multiple stores and also as a level one safety officer for 4 years before I could find an internship.
Why financial management N6
I have always been intrigued by how the economy runs on a daily basis from the hired labour to stores. So it seemed fitting to try and learn more about the daily running of companies and how the money is handled at different institutions.
Internship
After years of searching for an internship with no luck. I was referred to a link to the website of gwconnect and was told it might help. After a few months of me registering I got a call for my first interview which I failed but the agency assured me they would find another opportunity for me. A few later they called to inform me about another interview which I passed.
Company
The company I work at is an automobile company and is very diverse. They have a lot of programs for semi skilled individuals. Their focus is training their individuals not just about the filed they are in but more about how the company runs presenting more learning opportunities.
