<p>Duties:</p>
<ul>
<li>Check visually the functioning of machinery</li>
<li>Identify machines or components to be repaired</li>
<li>Initiate stores requisitions</li>
<li>Identify and implement training in respect of machine repairs</li>
<li>Check that safety regulations conform to OHSA</li>
<li>Ensure maintenance scheduled is maintained and adhered to</li>
<li>Ensure that production can operate optimally with adequate machine availability</li>
<li>Ensure maintenance team is trained and equipped to deal with stoppages in the factory</li>
<li>Stock take is planned and levels are within the required target range</li>
<li>Efficient repairs and maintenance work, both preventative and scheduled</li>
<li>Ensure cost are within budget</li>
</ul>
