<p>Our client is one of the leading supplier of innovative infrastructure products to the construction and mining markets within Southern Africa. They work hard to provide the best product to their customers and they are looking for talented and vibrant individuals to join their team.</p> <p>Duties:</p> <p>. People Management</p> <ul> <li>Oversee the management of the region’s sales representatives including but not limited to staff wellbeing, HR/IR issues, performance management, etc.</li> <li>Ensuring a high standard of integrity amongst employees by ensuring the execution/implementation/adherence to the Company Policies and Procedures.</li> </ul> <ol start="2"> <li>Sales Management</li> </ol> <ul> <li>Responsible for overall achievement of budgets, margins and targets.</li> <li>Responsible for new business development.</li> <li>Manage production planning in conjunction with Operations.</li> <li>Conduct regular sales meetings.</li> </ul> <ol start="3"> <li>Customer Service</li> </ol> <ul> <li>Responsible for client satisfaction and retention.</li> <li>Conduct client site visits.</li> <li>Assist with Public Relations therein assist the Sales Director in public relation matters by meeting with clients on an ad hoc basis improving the company image/determining additional needs.</li> </ul> <ol start="4"> <li>Oversee Debtor’s Process</li> </ol> <ul> <li>Provide approval of credit limits/discount rates within the parameters of the Company Policy and Procedures.</li> <li>Ensure staff adhere to set credit limits.</li> <li>Ensure debtor control by studying the age analysis as prepared by the debtor’s clerk, obtaining approval for increase in credit facility and liaise with the clients on a daily basis, where necessary.</li> </ul> <ol start="5"> <li>Quality Assurance</li> </ol> <ul> <li>Monitor the effective logistics of finished products (timeous product delivery).</li> <li>Conduct spot checks on product quality and laboratories results to ensure product standard compliance.</li> <li>Conduct spot checks on cash accounts.</li> </ul>
Opportunity Requirements
<ul> <li>Relevant tertiary qualification in Sales and Marketing will be an advantage;</li> <li>MS Office literate; and</li> <li>JDE Experience.</li> <li>At least 10 years commercial sales experience in same or similar industry.</li> <li>At least 5 years experience in a managerial role</li> <li>Must be computer literate (Microsoft Office)</li> <li>Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills on all levels</li> <li>JDE experience will be an advantage</li> <li>Must have excellent analytical abilities</li> <li>Must be proactive and a problem solver</li> <li>Must have the ability to work well under pressure</li> <li>Must be target and deadline driven</li> <li>Must be willing and have the means to do extensive travelling</li> <li>Must be presentable to customers and clients and;</li> <li>Must have the ability to lead team to achieve targets and results driven.</li> </ul>
