Opportunity Details
<p>Our client is one of the leading supplier of innovative infrastructure products to the construction and mining markets within Southern Africa. They work hard to provide the best product to their customers and they are looking for talented and vibrant individuals to join their team.</p> <p>Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Active procuring of orders for the business unit (new business development)</li> <li>Achieve sales target and maintain sales margins</li> <li>Provide effective customer service function which includes but is not limited to sales visits and client retention</li> <li>Develop and maintain data base for all new and existing clients</li> <li>Stay abreast of market requirements, needs and trends through personal visits to external organisations and customers</li> <li>Liaise with production and dispatch to ensure correct product quantities, product delivery and quality.</li> <li>Liaise with Internal sales</li> <li>Inspecting all media publications to keep abreast of developments and trends in the industry</li> <li>Promoting Technicrete products and their use</li> <li>Seek new markets for existing and new products</li> <li>Update existing marketing and project data and present to the Regional Sales Manager when necessary</li> </ul>
Opportunity Requirements
<ul> <li>Matric or relevant NQF qualification;</li> <li>Appropriate post matric Marketing and/or Sales qualification will be an advantage</li> <li>3-5 years sales experience within concrete / manufacturing industry</li> <li>Proven track record of target achievement</li> <li>Hardworking team player that can work under pressure</li> <li>Good communication and administrative skills (bilingual)</li> <li>Interpersonal skills, and be able to self-manage</li> <li>Honesty and Integrity and living the company’s values</li> <li>Must be results orientated, highly motivated and target focused</li> <li>Ability to build good relationships and partnerships with clients and management</li> <li>Must be in possession of a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle</li> <li>Must be computer literate (MS office)</li> <li>Must have industry Health & Safety compliance knowledge</li> <li>JDE procurement system experience and knowledge will be advantage</li> </ul>
